When you sit in the driver’s seat, you can clearly see what’s infront of you and when you use your side mirrors, you can see most of what’s behind; but there are some areas around the car that requires special attention – your blind spots.
So what are blind spots?
A blind spot is an area that you can’t see easily from the driver’s seat. A vehicle can ‘hide’ in your blind spot, making it very difficult to see what the other motorist is doing, for example, changing lanes. There are two blind spots in the average vehicle, one on either side of the car, extending from the rear of the vehicle back in a triangle. However, different vehicles have different blind spots, like a tractor trailer for example.
